Our Personal Support Worker training program offers comprehensive courses designed to equip both new  PSW's and experienced professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the healthcare industry. Our curriculum focuses on practical training, theoretical understanding, and the latest advancements in nursing care. We are committed to nurturing a new generation of confident and competent support workers who are prepared to provide compassionate care to their patients.

The Personal Support Worker certificate online hybrid program is 40 weeks.

The program will provide  you with the skills needed to get into the workforce as a Personal Support Worker. You can complete the course at your own pace and you will have 24/7 course access.

Course content follows the most current and relevant trends in professional practice. Course is based on the 2022  Personal Support Worker – PSW vocational program standards . During this program, you will take courses in a supportive environment. For domestic students this course can be taken in Canada and will require domestic students to complete a clinical placement in Canada. For students oversees or international students, this course can be taken from your own country online and you do not have to come to Canada, therefore a student visa is not required. Students overseas will be required to provide proof of where they will be completing their clinical placement from an old age home or retirement home from where they live in their country.

The domestic students in Canada will be expected to complete a clinical placement in a long term care setting in their communities where they live. Students in Canada will be required to have all prerequisites, and all vaccines before the start of their clinical placement.
